Some initial thoughts:

I'm not sure the lead meets MOS:LEAD. I would try adding a few sentences to make sure the article's main points are represented. For example, as it is there's no summary of the aftermath section.

"Doukas was forced to land his troops and fight a protracted campaign" Since no one is "forcing" him to do it, I think this needs to be reworded, to something like: "Because the revolt continued, Doukas landed troops and began what would become a protracted campaign".

"Rhapsomates and the Immortals involved in the rising..." this is part of the aftermath, surely?

"suggesting that the revolt might have been directed at Alexios' fiscal policies" is this found in other sources? Otherwise it might be correct to attribute the historian making this connection
