Zine?
[edit]This a publication which describes itself as a journal, and has very high printing/presentation standards. Is it really accurate to call it a zine or should this article be renamed? скоморохъ 18:01, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's not an academic journal, so the word "magazine" probably describes better what it is and I will move the article to that title. --Crusio (talk) 16:07, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- The move was inappropriate I am afraid; I have access to the publication at this point and it is indeed described as a journal (a term not at all exclusive to academia). Skomorokh, barbarian 18:32, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right that "journal" is not exclusive to academic journals (Wall Street Journal is an obvious example). However, for periodicals like this, "journal" is used as a synonym for "magazine" and I find it clearer to then call it a magazine... But I have no strong feelings about this and don't mind leaving it at the current title, even though I prefer the other one... :-) --Crusio (talk) 19:19, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
