Source: "The Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright, M.P.) presided, and on the platform ware the Prime Minister .(the.Rt. Hon. W. P. Massey), the Bt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward". The article then goes on and says what each one had to say at this reception in 1922. Joseph Ward was prime minister from 1906 to 1912.
