This article is obviously biased. Putin expressed his endorsement for Harris and criticized Trump. Why would he try to sabotage Harris? Lightnightx3x (talk) 12:47, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Right…he really doesn’t want someone like Trump in the White House who will hand him Ukraine on a platter.😆 Paul Lyle Shaw (talk) 12:25, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you think Russia didn't invade Ukraine when Trump was President? He sanctioned Russian oligarchs and companies. Under his presidency invading Ukraine wouldn't be very smart. Lightnightx3x (talk) 16:11, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And while Biden did sanction Russia, why didn't Putin criticize him instead of endorsing him? Lightnightx3x (talk) 16:26, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"He sanctioned Russian oligarchs and companies." Trump did that begrudgingly. Even a Russophile such as Trump knew that it would be political suicide NOT to go along with some sanctions. Besides, Trump continued to sing Putin's praises even as he was applying the sanctions. As for Putin, he didn't need to invade the Ukraine when Trump was in power because he knew Trump wouldn't support Ukraine's admission to NATO. However, once Biden got in, Ukraine's admission to NATO suddenly became a real possibility, so Putin likely panicked and invaded Ukraine because doing so after Ukraine's admission to NATO would've triggered Article 5. As for your second question, Putin is a former spy, and he knows how to fool people into believing he's thinking one thing while he's secretly thinking something else.Vandelay, Varnson, & Van Nostrand (talk) 16:39, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Incivility, personal attacks, and good responses deleted. This creates more heat than light, so hatting. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 18:54, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Better in a list?

[edit]

Wouldn't this be better as list of interferences in US election??? As far as we know this could go on for the next 200-300 years. why create a new article everytime? 2601:3C5:8200:97E0:10EA:1DE4:75F3:F33D (talk) 21:23, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
