Hi aircraft editors,

I am a Dane contributing to Commons. I took a few photos of this intriguing plane the other day during Danish Air Show 2014.

I know nothing about the plane, but feel free to use the photos, if you feel any of them can improve the article.--Slaunger (talk) 20:41, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:OY-DIZ SAI KZ IV landing Danish Air Show 2014-06-23.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on August 4, 2016. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2016-08-04. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 15:07, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

SAI KZ IV
The SAI KZ IV was a light twin-engined aircraft first built in Denmark in 1944 for use as an air ambulance. A single machine was built during the war, and was used by Folke Bernadotte while negotiating for the release of Danish prisoners in German concentration camps. It is now held by the Danmarks Flymuseum and has been restored to its original wartime configuration and markings. A second aircraft was built and flown in 1949, remaining actively operational until the mid 1960s.Photograph: Slaunger
