I question whether "Soft Gamma Repeater 1900+14 Announces Rebirth of the Christ Child" should be considered a valid source for anything. It appears to be a New Age religious text intent on "proving" things like the relationship between Mithraism and the Epistles of St. Paul. Despite the large distance to this SGR, estimated at 20,000 light years, the burst had large effects on the Earth's atmosphere.
I don't think the information is correct, the atmosphere was not originally mentioned in any of the sources. One of the sources says that the distance is 15,000 and not as I mentioned? Clerk18890 (talk) 21:08, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
