NPOV[edit]

This article seems to be written by a (or a group of) supporters of Mr. S.M. Dev aka Rana Dev, as he is known to his local electorate in Silchar. While this article highlights his achievements, no criticisms have been offered. Even his loss in one Parliamentary Election to Mr. Kabindra Purkayashta of BJP has not been mentioned. Also, his stint as the Chairman of Silchar Municipality Board is not mentioned. Please help in writing a balanced article on this gentleman. Thanks for any help in advance.
