Senegambian Cuisine[edit]

Obviously Senegal and The Gambia are different countries, but culturally they are very very similar, particularly with food. Can we combine this page with Gambian cuisine into a Senegambian cuisine page? Otherwise we'll end up with two pages that list pretty much all the same dishes. No, Senegal is a country with its own food and culture which are French influenced. Don´t mix our food with Gambians the food your are pretending to be Gambian is Senegalese not Gambian. Gambians don´t have their own food don´t use us under the label of Senegambia for that its not our problem. We invented our food we deserve our own category. We are not Senegambian we are Senegalese, a country in West Africa with its own food and culture. I don´t know why your are obsessed with Senegal and Gambia as Senegambia which is totally false since Senegambia is just a region. Stop disrepecting us lot of countries in West Africa have their own food category so does Senegal which is very rich in food contrary to Gambia and lot of West African countries eat Senegalese food its not just Gambia. We invented our own food not Gambia or Senegambia. Niokhit (talk) 16:56, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Muritania eat lot of Senegalese cuisine so does Guinea. Stop disrespecting our food and culture both are French influenced. Gambia has nothing to do with when we were colonized by the French and reinvented ourselves. Niokhit (talk) 17:02, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
