鯱 as しゃちほこ
[edit]I notice that the Scim Anthy dictionary converts しゃちほこ into 鯱, but I have lived in Nagoya when I was younger and I have never seen the letter 鯱 in and of itself being read as しゃちほこ. I always assumed しゃちほこ was 鯱鉾. Any example of this usage?

Head of a Tiger
[edit]I changed the article to say the head of a 'tiger' rather than a 'dragon', as this is what all Japanese sources say. On doing some digging I found this article also used to say 'tiger' until it was changed to 'dragon' by 79.67.132.69 --Rsm77 (talk) 03:27, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
