Spelling of Kamëntsá
[edit]The word Kamëntsá has many different spellings, and several are found on Wikipedia. I just switched all of them on this page to Kamëntsá, because that is how it's spelled in most modern academic usage, at least in English. If anyone objects, please say something. - Increasingly, the tendency in recent academic writing is to spell Kamëntsá as Kamëntšá, with the diacritic -š character. It can also be spelled Camëntšá, which is how the Cabildo Camëntšá Biyá in Sibundoy spells it. I think, in line with recent scholarship, we should standardize all references to the people and language to "Kamëntšá," with a note on orthographic variation.
