1541
[edit]All the sources I've seen for this period—at least those available in English (Knecht, etc.)—give the summer of 1542 as the start of Francis's offensive, rather than 1541. Is this simply a mistake in the article text, or do the Spanish sources actually use the earlier date? Kirill [talk] [prof] 02:19, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, is a mistake. Officially started in 1542, when Francis I declared the war. According to some sources, the armies of Francis were ready and prepared for the offensive in 1541, but yes, started in 1542. Thanks! History6969 (talk • contribs) 14:38, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
