Article title[edit]
As some might notice, the article title is not exactly accurate. Well it really depends on your source! I did not just make this up. This is the deal. I felt that having APO macro before the focal length, was not in continuity with most other lens article titles. Most people identify a lens by focal length and aperture. So I believe that having this information at beginning is appropriate. But not just because of that, here are the different sources on how the lens is named:

| * Printed on lens: | 150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO DG HSM |
| * Printed on lens packaging: | 150mm F2.8 APO MACRO DG |
| * Warranty card: | AF 150MM F/2.8 EX DG HSM |
