Sister city? What is this? - Sister city Singleton and Takahata have been (unofficially) sister cities since 1999 - they officially became sister cities in 2004 -

bah! This page is terrible. I can't fix it myself, but it REALLY needs to be fixed. Alot of it seems to be written by locals, for locals.58.6.43.107 10:11, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the barracks

[edit]

any info about the barracks? --Danlibbo 08:41, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

added a brief note about the barracks under Industy & Commerce. I think it's called Lone Pine Barracks. Maybe someone else can confirm. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.106.13.206 (talk) 12:15, 29 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

notable locals - sportspeople

[edit]

I can find references online via Google about all but Luke Price and Leigh McWilliams. Maybe these two either play at a local level (therefore not warranting a mention on Wikipedia) or have not played for some time. Also, I can find no references for any of the listed people that state any association with Singleton. Possibly they are also minor sportspeople who probably do not warrant being listed either. I am not willing to delete or change, as it is not clear. Thoughts or references? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.218.73.6 (talk) 13:03, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kelso

[edit]

Reg Winsor's family lived in Kelso before moving to Argyle Street. I presume Kelso is an obsolete name for a suburb in South Singleton, remembered in Kelso Street. Can anyone clarify? Doug butler (talk) 12:07, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
