Code 9[edit]

Has the show been renamed? BJTalk 02:14, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Digital Spy (along with a few other unofficial sources) seem to suggest it has been. However, the BBC has not yet released anything saying it has (the last official press release in December was still calling it Spooks Liberty). ~~ [Jam][talk] 08:18, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. BJTalk 09:39, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
March 2008 press release confirms name change to Spooks: Code 9 [1] Neddyseagoon - talk 20:07, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

US/Canada title[edit]

Does anybody know if it will be broadcast in the US and Canada, and if it is will it have its name changed like the original?--71.31.61.99 (talk) 01:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It hasn't even started broadcasting in the UK yet so I suspect you'll be waiting a while. ~~ [Jam][talk] 07:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Filming locations[edit]

Any reference to filming in Leeds will be removed unless a source can be found. Yes, I know that it was filmed in Leeds (the train station for example) but we have nothing to back it up and without evidence, it is original research. ~~ [Jam][talk] 22:11, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bradford mainly, also Leeds. http://screenyorkshire.co.uk/news-events/news-archive/spooks-code-9-bbc-three-sundays-at-9pm Architecty (talk) 13:22, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was filmed in many parts of Leeds. I work at the Council and my colleague handles filming enquiries. Filming has occurred at Clarence Dock, the Civic Hall, Park Square and Hanover Square - it was quite a lot of effort to get permissions for some of them! Here is a link - I don't know if you know Leeds at all but some of the locations are pretty high profile - more so than any used from Bradford. http://www.leedsliveitloveit.com/Visitors/News/NewsArticle/tabid/424/ItemId/2721/Default.aspxI have changed the article again accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.80.25.124 (talk) 14:27, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellation[edit]

Anybody know where this confirmed cancellation that keeps being brought up here is? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.193.58 (talk) 12:26, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, but if it is going to stay here, it needs a proper source. If the BBC has confirmed it, it will be on their Press Office pages. ~~ [ジャム][t - c] 16:26, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Might be more likely to find this in a trade publication. The BBC press office pages are typically used for saying "Hey, we're about to broadcast another series of this popular, well-scripted..."—and well, you see what I mean. - Pointillist (talk) 17:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, either way, it still needs sourcing. ~~ [ジャム][t - c] 17:42, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed 100%. I looked this afternoon but no luck. - Pointillist (talk) 17:45, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently, the series is being revived for 2010. No sources, but if anyone can find anything confirming that rumour, it might be worth adding. The Expeditioners -talk- 19:03, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many references, plenty of info on all aspects of the show. Definately not a stub, may be even B Class.
