Politically Biased[edit]

This article's opening description is politically motivated trash: you can't control overspending by reducing the revenue of an operating entity; you have to reduce how much it actually spends. Reducing the amount for spending only results in increased debt. The article describes the intent, but not the practical results of the policy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.112.223.8 (talk) 19:03, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article is about a politically biased political strategy, which will feel like politically motivated trash to those who disagree with the strategy. The article lead should simply accurately state the strategy. I agree that there should be room for the observation that seemingly no amount of tax cuts for the rich is sufficient to "starve" the military-industrial complex. – wbm1058 (talk) 13:08, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit on 13 Jan 2020 by 184.75.127.195 does not meet guidelines[edit]

I don't believe that the five paragraphs added to the end of the "Economic Analysis" section meet Wikipedia's guidelines for content. It appears to have facts and figures that are verifiable (though they should use Wikipedia's citation format, not parenthetical citations), but it does not seem to meet the guidelines for neutral point of view and no original research. To be honest, the edit reads more like an essay written for a class than anything that belongs on a Wikipedia page. — Brzac (talk) 16:47, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Social Security[edit]

Social security is defered wages earned by workers and matched by employers. It is administered by the government but not funded by the government. 2604:3D09:CD7D:7C00:69C1:E33F:CD43:73DD (talk) 17:18, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
