Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on January 2, 2009.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that the history of Switzerland in the Roman era includes about 300 years of peace and prosperity?

Congratulations...

... on creating a fine new article. Scotland may be another European country with some grand mountain scenery, but the experience of the Romans was somewhat contrasting. I've added this article as a "see also" to Scotland during the Roman Empire - please do likewise if you think it's relevant. Ben MacDui 10:06, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I've made a {{Roman history by territory}} navbox for this purpose, which I'll try and expand with other "Roman history of ..." articles.  Sandstein  12:03, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nice one - that's a really useful addition. Ben MacDui 14:04, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It would be good to find a serious way in which to introduce a link to the Asterix in Switzerland article. Ericoides (talk) 14:35, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In a section about portrayals of the period in literature, maybe?  Sandstein  15:59, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

The "known vici" wikilinks may be naive, simply a text list with every item in double square brackets. For instance, that is true of Curia and Magia.

P.S. Template {{commons category}} is inappropriate and destructive in section References. --P64 (talk) 21:23, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
