Fair use rationale for Image:Talitha Cumi 3x24.jpg
[edit]Image:Talitha Cumi 3x24.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Talitha Cumi
[edit]Is this phrase Aramaic or Russian? Just wondering since the X-files Wiki identifies the phrase as Russian while here ist is called Aramaic... -Meisterdieb (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:09, 13 July 2010 (UTC).
- They're wrong.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 17:16, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- It's definitely Aramaic, certainly not Russian. "Tunguska" is, I believe, the only title of Russian origin in the series (Millennium also has "Matryoshka" though). GRAPPLE X 17:25, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

- Will review shortly. Albacore (talk) 15:42, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- No dead links, no DABs
- Refs 15 and 16 are to Edwards, but I don't see where that ref goes under "references"
- Added. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Ref 2 "Lovece, pp. 216-7" ->> pp. 216-17
- Fixed.
- According to WP:LEAD, third paragraph, lead, "...the lead should not "tease" the reader by hinting at—but not explaining—important facts that will appear later in the article.". "which leads to the discovery of a dangerous secret from Mulder’s past." I think hints at an important fact but doesn't explain it
- Reworded things to be less cryptic, let me know if that's any better now. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- ...a mentally disturbed man pulls out a gun and and shoots three people before he is shot himself by police snipers outside. 1. Double "and"... 2. not sure if "himself" is needed here
- Fixed. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- An older man heals the gunman and his victims of their wounds, just by touching them with the palms of his hands. Not sure if "just" or the comma is needed here
- Fixed. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- FBI special agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) delink everything since it's linked earlier
- I've left these in for now, and stripped the links from the lead instead; I figure they're more helpful in the plot section than the lead if we're only going with one instance.
- Before I review any more of the plot section, how long is this episode? The plot section, with six paragraphs, seems excessive for a half-hour or hour long show
- It's 45 minutes (an hour on tv with ads), but quite dense for it. I've tried trimming it down by simplifying things where possible, but it's hard to cut thing out outright given how complex the ongoing plots can be. Let me know if there's anything you think could be taken out, fresh eyes would be good. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- which translates to "arise maiden" in ancient Aramaic, are all references to The Brothers Karamazov.[3]. double period
- Fixed. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- These references were originally suggested by David Duchovny for the episodes "Colony" and "End Game" link Colony and End Game to their respective articles.
- Linked. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- man out of several actors, one of whom had even brought a fake gun to his audition. not sure how relevant bringing a fake gun to an audition is
- Figured it was strange enough to mention. It is sourced, but if you think it should be taken out then I could lose it. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- focussed is misspelled in "shots focussed on him were filmed using a Steadicam to allow the character to seem "rock steady"
- I seem to be spelling it the same way you have, so I'm not sure what the misspelling is. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- The film used was also overcranked, which is when the frame rate of the recording is much higher than that which will be played back, slowing down the footage when it is played at a normal frame rate. 1. "which is when"->> "where" 2. perhaps link frame rate
- Addressed 1; as for 2, "frame rate" already was linked. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Make The A.V. Club in italics in the "Broadcast and reception" section
- Fixed. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
If you could respond to each concern individually, that would be great. I'll re-review the article when these concerns are responded to. Albacore (talk) 16:31, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Think I've got everything you've mentioned so far. Thanks for taking the time to look at this. GRAPPLE X 20:01, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Just a comment, I know the whole OtherStuffExists isn't really a fair argument, but the plot section is about the same length, if not a little shorter than most other X-Files articles. The plots tend to get complex, so longer summaries are sometimes needed.--Gen. Quon (talk) 19:46, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Other comments
- Mulder finds footage of Smith talking to the detective, and see... see->> sees
- Got it. GRAPPLE X 00:28, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- After you introduce the second Mulder it would be beneficial to tell the two apart in writing
- I've included the younger Mulder's first name a few more times towards the start, to help underline the difference between the two, though as it goes on, I figured the use of "Teena" and "Mulder" would then be seen as two distinct people. If there's any instance where it isn't clear, let me know and I'll clarify it further. GRAPPLE X 00:28, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
I'll pass the article after these two concerns are addressed. Albacore (talk) 23:57, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks again for taking the time to review this. GRAPPLE X 00:28, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
