Cradle of filth navbox
[edit]Take Tainted Love, originally recorded by Gloria Jones, later covered by many, many other bands and artists - yet you don't see their navboxes intruding on the page. Same goes for New Order's Temptation, covered by Moby - Moby's navbox isn't intruding on the page.
- This has been recorded by two artists, both of whom released as a single. Different situation. --Jamdav86 20:26, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry - how is this a different situation? How is Soft Cell's single of Tainted Love a different situation to Cradle of filth's single of Temptation? One song, recorded by a number of artists, all released as singles. Unless you think Cradle of Filth deserve special treatment to every other band who've released cover versions?
No - it's a purely practical situation. The maximum amount of infoboxes required on Tainted Love is in the twenties, whereas here there are only two. So what's the problem with having them both? Under Pressure has four! --Jamdav86 14:27, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Temptation Video
[edit]If you look very carefully at the woman in the Temptation video, you will realise that she is not in fact Carol Kenyon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.111.36.248 (talk) 03:33, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, you're right, and the article has been edited to agree with you for a while now. DBaK (talk) 09:28, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
