A search on everyhit.com: [1] gives No.8 in May 1980. Alf 22:03, 9 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

...and the sleevenotes to the Bronze Years box set says it was released on 3 May 1980 (and, yes, hit #8). So, where do the dates in the article come from? For now, I'll change it as sleevenotes have to be considered reliable (although in reality they're often wrong). --kingboyk 20:54, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It appeared in Roda's second edit to the edit to the article, Burridge's book has May 3, 1980 also, so we're fine with that.--Alf melmac 21:16, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trouble is, the band's own website has a list of past tour dates and gives Lochem Pop Festival, Holland, on May 25th 1980. The tracks originate from that festival appearance (a fact confirmed on the official site, next to the date) PLUS the European 12inch (or 'maxi-single' as it was known in those parts) was titled Lochem '80 or somesuch. I would query the release date, as the festival seems pretty-well fixed. That said, far be it for me to doubt such an authority on the band as Alan Burridge! I was going to X-ref their appearance playing 'leaving here' on 'Top Of The Pops', as the official site used to have an excellent database - enter a band and it gave their appearances on the show, with track, date and DJ. This link is now dead. 86.129.10.125 (talk) 04:45, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Alister, England[reply]

The release date is correct (easily verifible in Guiness British Hit Singles - 7 weeks on the charts, peaked at #8). I would suspect if there's any confusion with a festival on that date, then it may have been promoted on the back of it. But definitely recorded well before 25/May/1980. — Drwhawkfan (talk) 22:26, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
