Name

I'm fairly certain that it's "The Razors Edge," much in the fashion of Dexys Midnight Runners, though it is rarely written as such because it is technically grammatically incorrect.. TheDavesr 04:47, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

I agree with TheDavser. There is no apostrophe in "Razors." Don't you think we should maybe move this page to a new page caled "The Razors Edge" or "The Razors Edge (album)?" Ac-dcfreak785 10:35 4 July 2006
Just noting for completeness that it was moved to "The Razors Edge (album)" in 2006-07-10T07:02:44. --PEJL 04:54, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Is there any connection between the album name and the book by Maugham and/or the epigraph of the book (taken from the Katha-Upanishad)? 71.56.234.217 (talk) 02:04, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

AC/DC's official website lists this album as 'The Razor's Edge'. --Wexer9 (talk) 00:43, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

No, it doesn't. Go take a look. It's listed as "The Razors Edge" (no matter how grammatically incorrect that is). "The razors edge" seems to be an old expression, that's where they got the idea for the title. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.163.42.125 (talk) 00:11, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:ACDC The Razors Edge.JPG

I found Image:ACDC The Razors Edge.JPG and noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. Someone will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If it was obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If there are other files on this page, consider checking that they have specified their source and are tagged properly, too. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:29, 25 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fair use rationale for Image:ACDC The Razors Edge.JPG

Image:ACDC The Razors Edge.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 04:29, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Brian Johnson songwriting

Can someone tell me why Brian Johnson stopped writing lyrics to AC/DC songs beginning with this album. He'd written lyrics for the songs since Back in Black but not for any album since the 90s. Is there a reason here? Darwin's Bulldog (talk) 07:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Release date

There are 2 different release dates for Razors Edge. In the 1990 in Music article, it's listed as September 21, & the Infobox for the album article says September 24. --CltNC830 (talk) 00:38, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Third highest selling album sentence doesn't make sense

"The album has sold approximately 18.8 million copies worldwide, making it the third highest selling AC/DC album (after Powerage, Let There Be Rock, For Those About to Rock We Salute You, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and High Voltage)."

If it was the third highest selling album there should only be two albums in that list. Back in black and ? 2407:E400:A006:6600:6D9C:8061:4D1A:8670 (talk) 09:14, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
