TV By Numbers and ratings

[edit]

I've been looking at the second season numbers as cited from TV By Numbers (fixing some blatant misstatements of what the source say), and noticed that it doesn't give the rating, just the impressions. So what is the universe by which people are dividing the impressions to get the rating? Is that documented anywhere? If I recall correctly, Cable universes are issued by Neilsen monthly rather than yearly, but I no longer have direct access to them. -- Zsero (talk) 02:17, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Map of locations?

[edit]

Does anyone think we can upload a panoramic map of all the locations the S.S. Tipton has gone through? This may help as the locations will expand throughout the series. Calebaldwinjun9 (talk) 20:28, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Marcus Little's departure

[edit]

There have been removals of Doc Shaw/Marcus Little content recently that are inappropriate, so the content has been restored. Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/Style guidelines#Cast information states, "When organizing the cast section, please keep in mind that "main" cast status is determined by the series producers, not by popularity or screen time. Furthermore, articles should reflect the entire history of a series, and as such actors remain on the list even after their departure from the series." Some of the more important points to note from this are:

  • Main cast status is not determined by screen time
  • Articles should reflect the entire history of a series
  • Actors remain on the list even after departure.

Since Doc Shaw was a main cast member at one time he remains listed as a main cast member even though she is not in that role any more. This is necessary to ensure that the article reflects the entire history of the series, as required by Wikipedia:WikiProject Television. It's really as simple as that. --AussieLegend (talk) 04:04, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

University Life?

[edit]

Has it even been announced that University Life was picked up? Until it is announced I am going to remove it. Bellagio2 (talk) 01:46, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Other Settings

[edit]

Why is it that Rome is listed as just Rome and not as Italy, while the United Kingdom is not specified as London? Its clear that the characters visited the cities themselves and not the country in general. Jedi94 19:39, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is Zack and Cody's Age

[edit]

Why is there age changing at first in "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" episode Poor Little Rich Girl on the video it said they were born September 23,1992. In "The Suite Life on Deck" episode Das Boots Sasha said "You were born in Seattle,1993.". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmgksnkjgbs (talkcontribs) 20:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is extremely common for the birth dates of fictional characters to remain ambiguous, and is one reason why the "|birthdate=" parameter was removed from {{Infobox character}}. The video only shows them on September 23, 1992, it doesn't actually fix this as their birthdate. Their birth is on the video, but that isn't shown, so we don't know what the date actually is and the date of what was shown doesn't have to be the date of their birth. However, it clearly couldn't have been 1993. We'll probably never know their actual birthday. --AussieLegend (talk) 22:15, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew Timmons

[edit]

Why is Matthew Timmons listed as reoccurring? He was on the show pretty regularly. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 07:21, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Many recurring characters are on TV programs pretty regularly. The point though, is that Timmons was never credited as a main character. He was only ever credited as a guest star, which makes him recurring. --AussieLegend (talk) 09:19, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
