[edit]This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 03:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:56, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Article reclassification
[edit]This article now meets the requirements for Class C. I have made the change for WP:Oklahoma and WP:Biography. Bruin2 (talk) 00:08, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
Children
[edit]The section implies that Gore Vidal was one of Thomas Gore's children (and is somewhat confusing; "they had two children" followed by a list of four.) Gore Vidal was the son of Eugene Luther Vidal and Thomas Gore's daughter Nina, iirc (source Kaplan's biography of Gore Vidal, but will have to double-check.) One of the others listed was, I think, Gore Vidal's half-sister? In all a somewhat confusing listing that needs a cleanup... Schissel | Sound the Note! 21:30, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Relation to Albert Gore
[edit]How was he related to Senator Albert Gore Sr. and his son Al Gore, the Vice President? Was it rather a close or a distant relationship? Here is the Ancestry of Al Gore [1] but one can't see where it comes together with Thomas' ancestry. There is a website on the Gore family, but rather for contacting purposes... This one has more entries and links gw.geneanet.org but doesn't seem to be leading to Thomas either. I haven't found an overall family tree. Equord (talk) 13:06, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
