For consistency, usually NIO seasons don't have timelines. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 16:24, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will admit that I am biased, since I wrote the article, but if the article is well written and sourced, I don't see how other seasons not having timelines would be a valid reason to merge. — Iunetalk 20:03, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That line of argument goes the other way too, why not create timelines for other NIO seasons and get them to FL for consistency? Sorry to be blunt but this is an absurd reason to merge an article, especially one that meets the featured list criteria. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 15:13, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this correct?

[edit]

9 October: The JTWC reports that Tropical Depression ARB 03 (03A) has intensified into a tropical storm while located roughly 385 km (240 mi) northwest of Lakshadweep, India. Simultaneously, they report that the storm has reached its peak intensity, with maximum 3-minute sustained wind speeds of 65 km/h (40 mph)... but "the JTWC measured average sustained wind speeds taken over a one-minute period"?--Jarodalien (talk) 05:23, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to be a typo. Corrected to 1-minute winds. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 07:54, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

3 November: The JTWC reports that Tropical Cyclone Chapala (04A) has weakened into a category 1 tropical cyclone while located roughly 85 km (55 mi) west of southwest. Of where exactly?--Jarodalien (talk) 07:09, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the surrounding text, this should be "southwest of Mukalla, Yemen". Thanks Jarodalien for pointing these out. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 07:54, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
