Tingri is not a "town", it is only a county, see Tingri County. Its capital is called Xigar, not Tingri (town). --Reiner Stoppok (talk) 12:13, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, Tingri is also a small town, as well as the name of the county, but is no longer the capital as it once was before the Chinese took over. Cheers, John Hill (talk) 00:26, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
