ISBN[edit]

This book has 2 ISBN's one on the jacket starting with 0 the correct one according to International convention, and one on the publication history page that I also would have used that starts with 9 and is therefore incorrect.--Matt 07:41, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew Kinny[edit]

Peter, I have heard of Matthew Kinny and I would not be surprised if he is now regarded as an expert on Australian red cedar. Good on him for being brave and open about his Chlorophilia. Bacedules85 23:45, 6 September 2007 (UTC).[reply]

You may have heard of him, but I assure you the encyclopedia-reading public hasn't. If he's Australia's biggest expert on this tree (itself an innately difficult-to-prove claim) then sources are required to back it up. Not my rule - it's Wikipedia's. If you make a claim that isn't self-evident to a majority, i.e sugar is sweet, the sun is yellow, the sky is blue, etc, then it requires citations. See WP:V and WP:SOURCE before making further changes of this nature to this article. And if this person suffers from a psychological disorder, how is it relevant to the article about red cedars? T. australis -> T. ciliata[edit]

I moved the content from the "Toona australis" article to Toona ciliata, as the australian Toona and the asian T. ciliata have been clumped and they both are now treated under the name T. ciliata. I also redirected Toona australis to Toona ciliata. Krasanen (talk) 19:17, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
