Etymology of given name?

Well, I think that would be a nice thing to know for everybody. As it occurs to me, Tori as a female given name is quite a recent thing, in terms of generations (post-1970 with no doubt). I thought Wikipedia changed the fact that you could edit

Is plural of torus main meaning?
