Runway surfacing

Tororo Airport's original grass runway was surfaced with murram (laterite) between the dates indicated in the Google Earth Historical Image reference. The 2006 image shows the grass runway with lines of dark material along its boundaries, possibly laterite delivered for the upcoming surfacing. The next dated image shows the runway completed. No image is available between the two dated ones.

The standard runway markings were restored by February 2011. Cptmrmcmillan (talk) 08:18, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
