[edit]

Several of the articles that linked to this I think are actually better served by this then the redirect to Family values. The best example being the Red Lake Indian Reservation link. Other examples are that Chopin's novel was written before the buzzword "family values" and William A Donohue likely does mean this. In cases where Family values was more appropriate I've fixed it where the articles use of "traditional values" links to the "Family Values" article directly.--T. I agree with T. Anthony 's comments, perhaps the US political sense of the term should be deleted from this anthropology wiki and the links to the "Traditional Values" (e.g. on the page of the Heritage Foundation's page) should be changed or redirected to Family values. Usage

[edit]

The "Usage" section contains a statement that amounts to saying that aesthetic values are inherently subjective, which sounds like POV (as there is sound argument to the contary, whilst the idea of not questioning another's taste is a perculialy modern and western Individualist notion). fallacy of logic

[edit]

Is reproductive success of logic-ignoring humans logical or illogical? Do logicians or even wikipedians set rules for cultural systems or parents? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.25.162.202 (talk) 22:35, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
