Possible reconstruction?

According to [1] (hungarian), the bridge might be rebuilt in a joint effort by Serbia and Romania. --Mátyás (talk) 14:24, 25 August 2008 (UTC) The article states that: "Serbia, which is proud of his ancient heritage, promotes the reconstruction of the bridge primarily - eight Roman emperors were born on his today's area, more considerable ruined cities are at his disposal -, and tries to dedicate it to the service of his tourist industry. 1 million euros stand onto a provision, which are not enough according to experts, temporarily onto the reconstruction of Traianus bridge, but the plan striking it is claimed: they have safe promises in that direction, that from a Serbian, Romanian and union source the necessary sum accumulates." A virtual reconstruction

The project include a holografic laser reconstruction of the bridge. The funds allocated for the all the projects from Serbian Ministry of Economy is 25 millions of euro. (I've belive that the bridge reconstruction is not possible due to the fact that the Iron Gate dam lake is layed out over the bridge) For the bridge reconstruction the estimated budget is 1 million euro and must be provided by local authorities. The Holographic image will be between the two pillars from romanian side and one pillar from serbian side.

Contradiction

First it's stated that the bridge was destroyed by Aurelian, more than 100 years after its construction, but later it's stated that the bridge was destroyed by Hadrian, just after Trajan reign. 177.242.223.14 (talk) 21:07, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
