Defining Transaction Time as "the time during which a fact stored in the database is considered to be true" seems confusing and misleading to me. "Valid time" is the time during which the data supposedly reflects the modeled reality. Transaction time is either the time point at which the data was entered into the database, or the time range spanning entry to update (including deletion.) Perhaps that could be considered "truth" in the sense of the database's truth, but as formulated the referent of truth is ambiguous, and it's probably more understandable to redefine it without any reference to truth, e.g. "the time period during which a fact... is or was known to be in effect in the database" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djradon (talkcontribs) 05:39, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
