Sorry, Im in a real rush right now or i would edit this page myself. this article has major flaws, mostly about the location and the causes of simple bone cysts. There is a good page on emedicine http://www.emedicine.com/radio/topic642.htm which might help. I wont be back at a computer for another week, so if someone could fix it til then 58.179.197.188 (talk) 08:09, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made this stub using an oral and maxillofacial pathology book, and I did not notice that traumatic bone cysts may be found throughout the body. The current text will need to be placed under a heading when found in the jaws. - Dozenist talk 12:08, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have a cyst in my left humorous, if you are worried you might have a cyst the chances are you wont find out untill you brake it. but they are very rare and unlikely to get one. most common cysts tend to heal naturaly. mine did but being a teenager i dident look after my arm to well and crushed it for the 3rd time. i am having metal plates inserted to prevent the bone to brake as eaisly. if you have an x-ray or mrs scann you can see if you have a bone cyst but then if you do the way they will treat it is, brake the cyst and drain the fluids or surgicaly remove it. so i would say not worth the scann if you dont know or are un-sure. since either way you have to brake it. i olny wrote in here to let people with cysts know, yes its normal, yes they brake very eaisly unless you let it heal. also dont brake it more then once if you can help it last time i stopped the blood flow though my arm. by eaisly brakes i rolled on my arm and it snapped and was pusshed inwords, so it is very fragile. take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.25.242.219 (talk) 20:54, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
