Wiki Confusion[edit]

This is so confused it's not funny. There's no accuracy in it either. Obviously the author was working for attention. There's no truth in any of this. The author comes off as a jerk as a result.

Tunnel of Love is definitely written by Knopfler. The intro, written by Rodgers/Hammerstein, is another song called Carousel Waltz.

It's all there in the text but wow is it ever convoluted. First the text says it's not written by Knopfler alone, then it says it's entirely by Knopfler.

There should be an age/IQ/educational limitation for contributing to this amateur encyclopaedia.

"Tunnel of Love" is one of only three Dire Straits songs not written by Mark Knopfler alone (the other two are "Money for Nothing" and "What's The Matter Baby?"). The song itself is entirely by Knopfler, but the opening instrumental is an arrangement of the "Carousel Waltz" from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel.

I've improved it. But this is Wikipedia, the Encyclopedia Anyone Can Edit. In the time it took you to write that screed, you could easily have fixed it yourself.
Also, you should read the guideline Wikipedia:Assume good faith. Accusing other editors of "obviously working for attention" and implying that they're stupid is not the kind of behaviour we encourage here. Nor, really, is it behaviour you should be engaging in if not coming off as a jerk is something that you consider important. —Paul A (talk) 01:58, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Single[edit]

Does anyone know what the B-side of this was? Middle Eye 512 (talk) 12:34, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have the single on vinyl. The song was too long to fit on a single side, so it was split on two sides. At the end on side A the song fades out and continued with a fade in on side B. Dh3201 (talk) 11:11, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
