Directions need reversing

[edit]

This article is primarily written East -> West. The junctions in the infobox and table should be reversed to put it in a West -> East order in keeping with WP:USRD standards. Imzadi1979 (talk) 17:57, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Major intersections

[edit]

The entire list needs to be overhauled to comply with MOS standards.

  1. The list runs east to west. It should be west to east.
  2. The counties should span the rows instead of being repeated each time. They should be wikilinked as well.
  3. There is no location column. The locations should also be wikilinked and span the rows as appropriate. Switching over to use {{jctint}} would solve both issues.
  4. The directional plates have to go. If a direction is needed for a junction, use the dir1= function of {{jct}} to implement the text. In other words, use {{jct|state=IN|I|69|dir1=north}} to get
    I-69 north.
  5. There is no reference for how the mileposts are derived. One should be added. Also, the mileposts aren't all to the same decimal place. If the CR 17 junction is at 92.0 miles, please add the zero back for consistency and precision.
  6. Control cities are a nice addition.
  7. The BUS US 6 link should be fixed. As of now, it's made using the banner plate above {{jct|state=IN|US|6|SR|51}} which makes a link back to the same article, a bit of a no-no. Use {{jct|state=IN|US-Bus|6|SR|51|dab1=XXX}} with the appropriate city substituted for the XXX.

See U.S. Route 41 in Michigan for how a good looking junction list is implemented. (Concurrency colors aren't widely implemented, so you many just want to use the notes column to state where concurrencies begin and end.) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at any time. Imzadi1979 (talk) 05:49, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned up the list. More work is needed. Imzadi1979 (talk) 04:51, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
