President?

It is highly disputed if Sissoco Embaló is currently the legal president of Guinea-Bissau. He has sworen himself into office. Against the official procedures - against the will of the Parliament, in absence of prime-minister, president of the high court and military chef.

He was not willing to wait until the High Court has finally confirmed the results of the december elections, which are currently disputed.

It is currently unclear if he will be recognized as president by the international community.
