INCORRECT STATEMENT[edit]

How possible???[edit]

She was married to Uthman ibn Affan after the death of his first wife Ruqayyah.

Good point - Ruqayya was most likely the third wife of Uthman.

However, there is nothing impossible about Uthman's remarrying after Ruqayya's death. Why is it a problem?Petra MacDonald (talk) 15:08, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is the "by 650" paragraph really necessary?[edit]

Re: the paragraph beginning "By 650 rebellions had broken out in the provinces..." - is that really necessary? It seems unnecessarily confusing to me, given that Umm Kulthum had died twenty years earlier in 630. Putting the paragraph there makes it sounds like she was still around when Uthman was killed.
