Description of AAU in lede

[edit]

An unregistered editor is insisting that the lede of this article include a description of the Association of American Universities, namely that it's "a prestigious alliance of research universities in the United States and Canada." This off-topic, unnecessary, and promotional; readers who want to learn more about the organization are welcome to click on the link we helpfully provide to the organization's article.
