The article has been changed to the proper and current name of the company, which is Vans, Inc. --JJF182 09:33, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is better known as Vans, why isn't the article named "Vans"? --Liface 21:01, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose it's because that's the official name of the company, kinda like Coca-Cola is under The Coca-Cola Company. The Kids Aren't Alright 20:35, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Vans shoes cost a lot of money, although I guess that is a matter of perspective JayKeaton 15:35, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious when they went from being hand-made in Orange County to factory made in China. I remember custom ordering them with crazy color combinations in the 70s and 80s. Tough shoes but not so much anymore. We used to call the original lace up lotops Van Dorens and the other styes were Vans.

Requested move to Vans[edit]

Van Doren Rubber Company is a deprecated name. --Liface 05:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are some comments that make no sense in the article, such as "Notibly, would make a good Christian theme song" or something. I cannot find it when I click edit, oddly. Also a remark to "buy the dragon colored vans!" at the bottom that again I cannot find to erase. These have nothing to do with the articlec --SaturnSL1WNY
