Volvo B10TL and Volvo B10TL (Wright-bodied)

[edit]

I fail to understand why a Volvo B10TL with a specific type of bodywork requires a whole article to itself when another article exists on the B10TL chassis itself. Bus chassis can appear with many variations of bodywork built by a range of manufacturers, that should all be detailed in the article about the chassis type, not a separate one for each combination. I can understand the Wright bodywork style having its own entry, but a B10TL is a B10TL, regardless of who built the frame on top of it. And why just the Wright bodied one, is there something particularly special about it that differs so drastically from other B10TLs? I'm reasonably well scoped on who builds what in the road transport industry, but even for me this is confusing, so how will someone who has come here to reasearch or learn find it? --Ayrshire--77 19:28, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Indeed I would say a lot of the information contained in the B10TL main article is not relevant to the chassis at all but rather the bodywork or particular routes of the operator. These two articles should be cleaned up and the information moved as appropriate. --RXUYDC 21:00, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
