I think we can do away with the "stub" categorization. I've expanded the article with a summary providing the stefnal premise on which Heinlein had based it (until 1946, he'd lived in southern California, and had apparently become familiar with the peculiar character and history of the Imperial Valley area as the result of his political campaign work for the Democratic Party during the 1930s) as well as the nature of the unnamed perspective character and the dramatic impetus of the piece.
It's a very short story, and in truth there's not much meat in it beyond Heinlein's recurring "This is how a man dies. / This is how a man ... lives!" theme as articulated in "The Pragmatics of Patriotism" (1973). — Tucci78 (talk) 01:39, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
