Notability
[edit]At present, the article does not assert notability.
The closest thing to a specific standard seems to be that for organizations and companies: "A company, corporation, organization, team, religion, group, product, or service is notable if it has been the subject of coverage in secondary sources. Such sources must be reliable, and independent of the subject." Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies)#Primary_criterion As the article has no sources of any kind at this point, notability is not established here.
Under general notability: "A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Wikipedia:Notability#General_notability_guideline Again, the article has no sources, so notability is not established here.
The content of the article does not assert notability in any way that I can see and there is nothing noted here or elsewhere to claim notability.
(Proposed Wikipedia:Notability_(shopping_centers) was rejected, but also demands sources to assert notability.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdsummermsw (talk • contribs) 14:38, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
So: "If an article fails to cite sufficient sources to demonstrate the notability of its subject ... Put the {{notability}} tag on the article to alert other editors." Wikipedia:Notability#Articles_not_satisfying_the_notability_guidelines
Another editor disagrees. I am notifying that editor of this discussion. Failing that, I will re-add the tag in several days. Mdsummermsw (talk) 14:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
