Does anybody know of an online retailer for dance wheelchairs? — Chris53516 (Talk) 00:37, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. Dance chairs, like all sport chairs, must be individually custom-fitted for the user. There's no such thing as a "one size fits all" dance chair. Roger (talk) 11:02, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed content

[edit]

I have removed the information about the UK. A whole para about one country which does not even take part in the international competition seems to give undue weight. Here is the removed content, perhaps some of it can return once the article has grown and covers several other countries with good reasons for being notable.

The UK are not, at this time, a member of the IPWDSC, and do not compete internationally. The Wheelchair Dance Association, established 1974, aims to unite Wheelchair Dance Teams in regional and national festivals. The WDA national championships were held in Blackpool in November 2006. The BBC OneLife documentary, "Dancing on Wheels" (broadcast in England on BBC1 at 10.35pm on 17 April 2007), followed some of the teams at the Championships, including the Inverclyders and Concorde Wheelchair Dancers, exploring some of the reasons that people enjoy wheelchair dance in the UK.

Championships without champions?

[edit]

The section on championship competitions doesn't mention the winners - the details should be added but the sourcing is not clear. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 15:47, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
