Studio in England

I have removed the following passage from the article, citing it as neither important nor relevant enough to the biography. JNW (talk) 21:27, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The excavation of the site of Homer's studio in Cullercoats (No.12 Bank Top) by Newcastle University, School of Historical Studies, is due to take place 21st-24th March 2008.

The Cotton Pickers

Some of the sources here do not necessarily make sense to what they are reference, for example, source 53 takes you to the US Postal Services website and does not mention what the author is referencing. This sentence also seems unnecessary: "Unlike many artists who were well known for working in only one art medium, Winslow Homer was prominent in a variety of art media, as in the following examples."
