The last section on the E3113 and L3014 chips was unclear in places. It stated "the other socket" but did not specify which. I explicitly stated LGA 775.

It also said that these chips do not work in a LGA775 motherboard. This may not actually be factually incorrect, but is in a way misleading. Some people have made LGA771 Xeon cpus run in LGA775 motherboards. Most of what is required is simply the removal of the obstructing plastic in the socket that serves to index the cpu and prevent it from being installed backwards. BIOS support is often present in the existing firmware. Often, people who wish to hack their systems,at their own risk encounter misinformation and static from people who cite common wisdom or manufacturers statements (which are often outright lies) in a way that is used to silence anyone might actually provide useful insight or ideas. Sometimes links to Wikipedia are used like this. If there is reason for the information to be believed, then it most certainly SHOULD be in the Wikipedia article. Even if its used to stifle discussion that's not Wikipedia's problem. (its a problem, just not one to be addressed here) While we all want Wikipedia to be as accurate as possible, sometimes there is little point in expending great effort editing and changing finer shades of meaning, especially on an obsolete product, when what was there,IS in fact a correct statement as far as unmodified chips go. Its a small thing, and really, its probably correct to say it wont work in a LGA775 board,as the assumption is the board is unaltered, but I feel its MORE correct to say wont FIT. This I feel is the most specifically correct way to say it,so at least if someone references this article in saying it WONT work, they are reading in more than is said.
