A note on British English
[edit]British English should be used for articles on Britain related topics. Likewise, American English should be used on articles pertaining to American topics. For a clearer example, please visit this sub-section on the differences between their usage. --Siva1979Talk to me 05:15, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
players list
[edit]It might be an idea to include a "details correct as of: (date)" above the list of current players, so that a transfer isn't missed. Similar to in this article Beaver Patrol 15:51, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Date of foundation
[edit]I know there is a dispute as to whether the club was founded in 1884 or 1887. As I understand it, the club claim 1884, but the earliest known reference is 1887. Can we come to a consensus as to which should be used in the article? Drc79 15:58, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
The clubs official year is 1884. When someone else commented is not relevant - KC —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.16.254.228 (talk) 12:31, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Wycombe Wanderers badge.gif
[edit]Image:Wycombe Wanderers badge.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

History section
[edit]The history section of the article is insanely long. It would probably be worth spinning it off to History of Wycombe Wanderers F.C. and leaving only a summary here, as is the case with most other clubs -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 16:04, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with this suggestion. The history section takes an age just to scroll through, never mind read, and it makes the page way too long. Christophee (talk) 11:27, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Skype/years problem
[edit]A couple of the average home league attendence in the 'Fans' section have been formatted and ended up looking like Skype numnbers. Could someone fix this? Noble Korhedron 21:22, 12 September 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noble Korhedron (talk • contribs)

2018–19 Home Kit
[edit]I've noticed that for the 2018–19 Wycombe Wanderers F.C. season, the home kit on the infobox has stayed as it has been for the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons. However they changed it between seasons[1] and as much as I want to change it, I have no idea how! Is there anyone out there who knows how to sort this? Joalhe1997 (talk) 19:08, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- DipsyDave, as you were the last person who added to the kits for this page, perhaps you can help? Joalhe1997 (talk) 18:56, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
