Yoros Castle is linked to the Fomenko theory! Just why is not "Yoros Castle" linked to Fomenko? Actually the Wiki Fomenko article, contends that Fomenko actually considers Yoros Castle as Troy! However, since I have read most everything written either by or about Fomenko, etal, I have never seen this particular place mentioned as a substitute for Troy! Which of you Wikipedia wizards are responsible for this? You must be "shunned!" chuckle!

By the way, can any of you figure out a way to stretch an "Iron chain" or even a modern "steel chain" across a straight of many hundreds of yards? Just what do you do about "sag?" Just what power pulls the chain up and down? Where are each ends anchored? Just some small problems whenever one hears of "chains crossing a harbor entrance!" Do any of you know of such chains existing during the American Civil War? Do you doubt that ships would have to be placed in the straights to keep the chain from sagging? What happens if you sink or destroy these chain holders? Much less, as any one who knows the tension that Iron chains can stand? Especially ones that exceed 1000 meters?

Constantinople might well be Troy!

[edit]

Since this castle of Yoros is not considered by Fomenko Et.al,as Troy, then you need to change your site!

Origin of the castle

[edit]

Why doesn’t this article list who built the castle? 85.148.213.144 (talk) 05:47, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
