Wesley Stevens[edit]
I was watching "Divorce Court" today, the Shelly v. Wesley Stevens episode that originally aired on 12/2/2010. Wesley Stevens stated that he wrote "You Make Me Fee Brand New" and sold it to the Stylistics. He also stated that he was part of the Stylistics, but he didn't elaborate on what that meant.

I recently met (November 2014) Wesley and Shelly Stevens and spent an informal evening with them. During our conversations, Wesley stated that he did, indeed, write the song and sold it to the Stylistics. Wesley admitted he was young (I believe he said he was 14 at the time) at the time he sold it. Wesley is a very talented musician (studied at Julliard ? in NYC)and continues to write and perform with his very talented wife Shelly.
