The data given in the chembox is not very reliable. It can't be significantly miscible in water, especially when one consider the relatively large size of the Ytterbium3+ and Bromine- ions. Moreover, the formula is 'YbBr2'. Probably it was copied from an article about Ytterbium(II) bromide. The melting point is also a little doubtful, compared to the fluoride and chloride.
