Allison Janney, portrayer of C. J. Cregg
- ALT0a: ... that despite perception of sexist tropes in The West Wing's women, C. J. Cregg (actor pictured) is widely considered to have depth and wit rivalling or exceeding the show's men?
- ALT7 ... that The West Wing's C. J. Cregg went from being "the most underwritten role in the pilot" to portrayer Allison Janney (pictured) winning four Emmys, more than any other actor on the show?

- Drive-by comment. I favor ALT1 with image. I personally was a dedicated viewer of that show. All the characters and cast were great. But when it comes to Women's History Month, C. J. Cregg is the role model of an accomplished woman, and Allison Janey is the actress who made the audience believe that. — Maile (talk) 12:33, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
- ALT1's Emmys thing isn't factually accurate without the "on the show" of ALT2, though. —Kusma (talk) 13:02, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

- You are correct - like this? — Maile (talk) 13:25, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

- Thanks for the speedy review, Pamzeis! :) I'm... not inclined to give up on ALT0 just yet, so I've proposed an ALT0a? ALT6 is the goofiest (and likely the hookiest), but this is one of those articles where running something substantial is a bit more important to me than maximizing view count. So, I'd rather ALT0a or ALT7—Maile is right, C. J. is absolutely a role model (for me too!) and these two hooks drive it home for me. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 16:52, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

:Yup, yup, yup. ALT0a and 7 are good :) Pamzeis (talk) 04:38, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
